On Nov. 11th R. W. B. Randy Lockhart, R. W. B. Richard Teague and V. W. B. Henri St.-Laurent represented the Lodge at the Remembrance Day ceremonies held  at the Greenfield Park Town Hall.  Our brethren presented a wreath at the Greenfield Park cenotaph and participated in the parade that followed .

On the 26th of February 2008 the brethren from the St. Lawrence district met with Mr. Bernard Constantini, the President of the Borough of Greenfield Park in the Masonic Temple at the McCuaig Hall in Greenfield Park. The  brethren presented a  check for $1,500 donated to La Mosaique, Volunteer Action Center. This organization is assisting the victims of the January 17^th fire on Victoria avenue in Greenfield Park. The fire destroyed 39 apartments and left 70 persons homeless.  You can read the coverage by the Rough Ashlar and the local press here.

Our V.W.B. Henri St.-Laurent was interviewed by Montreal Gazette columnist, Mr. James Mennie, in 2007 . The article appeared on the issue of  daily paper of November 10, 2007. The link to the original story may be found  here . B. St-Laurent is a Korean War  veteran.

Our brethren, R. W. B. Randy Lockhart and R. W. B. Richard Teague participated in the ceremonies of remembrance commemorating the sacrifices of fellow Canadians in times of war. On November 09, 2008 Greenfield Park held the Remembrance Day ceremony at the cenotaph on Churchill St. Our brethren presented a wreath in the name of our lodge. Brethren from Karnak  Shriners No. 81 were also present and participated in the parade that followed the wreath laying ceremony.

Brethren, family and friends joined together to celebrate our annual Christmas dinner . The event was held at the Lower Hall of the St. Andrew’s Presbyterian Church in St. Lambert, QC on  Saturday, December 6th, 2008.  Special thanks to the ladies that helped make the event a success, particularly to Mrs. Brenda Radford.
